Free tools
Find free tools worth building for your buyers, get a brief your coding agent can build from, and see when AI starts citing the tool.
AI answers often name a tool when someone asks how to work something out: a calculator, a template, a checker. Buyers link to good free tools, and AI quotes the page around them. Zivooo finds tools worth building for your buyers and writes the brief. You build and host the tool yourself, with your own coding agent: we never write, host or publish its code.
1. Find tool ideas
- 1Open Research and choose the Tools tab.
- 2Click Find tool ideas. It costs up to about $0.15 on your keys and counts toward your daily searches.
- 3Each idea shows what kind of tool it is, the search demand behind it (or No measured demand when it comes from your brand knowledge alone), and how much it takes to build.
Ideas start from your Brand Knowledge: your buyers' problems, the decisions they're stuck on, what your product saves them. Keywords people search with a tool word, and prompts buyers ask AI, add the evidence. An idea your business can't support (it needs data you don't have) is marked Not a fit, with the reason. The kinds of tool: cost of the problem calculator, roi or savings calculator, finder, quiz or configurator, assessment or scorecard, free slice of the product, planner, checklist or schedule builder, template or generator, checker or validator, interactive comparison or matrix, benchmark or lookup tool, converter or estimator, embeddable widget or badge.
2. Write the brief
Click Write brief on an idea, or write one for a tool of your own under Free tool on the Write page. It takes about a minute and costs up to about $0.30 on your keys, 10 a month per website. The brief is one Markdown file with these sections: For your coding agent, What to build and why, Tool spec, Test cases, Page copy, Structured data.
3. Build it with your coding agent
- 1On the Write page, Copy or Download the brief.
- 2Give it to your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or a browser builder) in your site's codebase and ask it to build the tool from the brief.
- 3The brief tells the agent to run its test cases before finishing. Check the results yourself too: they show the tool gives the right answers.
- 4If your agent is connected to Zivooo over MCP, it can fetch the brief itself with
get_tool_brief.
4. Mark it live
Once the tool is on your site, click Mark live and paste its address. We check the page the way AI bots read it: that it loads, that its copy is readable without JavaScript, and that its structured data has no errors. The check costs up to about $0.02 on your keys. From then on the brief shows how many AI answers cite the tool, and its status becomes Cited by AI once one does.
