Off-site presence
See where AI looks for answers about your market, track your own pages on other sites, keep your profiles right, and reply in the threads buyers read.
AI answers often cite pages that aren't yours: Reddit threads, review sites, "best of" lists, videos. Off-site presence helps you show up there, with pages that are yours. We find the places and write the drafts. You post everything yourself, from your own accounts: we never post, send or log in for you.
Where AI looks
At the top of AI Sources, Where AI looks shows the share of AI answers in the last four weeks that cite each kind of place: your site, your own pages elsewhere, your competitors, and platforms like Reddit, YouTube, G2 and lists. Switch between Buying prompts and All prompts. A tick under Yours means you have a page there. Each platform has a next step: Find threads for Reddit and Quora, Open profile kit for review and business sites, Open AI Mentions for lists.
Your pages on other sites
- 1Open Brand Knowledge in Setup and choose the Off-site presence tab.
- 2Your profiles from Brand Profiles (in Business & Voice) are listed here already.
- 3To add a post, reply, video or article of yours, paste its address under Add a page, pick its kind and click Add page.
When an AI answer cites one of these pages, AI Sources shows it as Yours, off-site, and the list shows how many answers cited it lately. Your AI visibility rate still counts only answers that name you; citations of your pages are shown beside it.
The profile kit
- Which profiles matter. The kit lists the review and business profiles AI uses for businesses like yours, the ones AI cites for your prompts first, and marks the ones you're missing.
- Copy for a missing profile. Click Write profile copy for a tagline, description, categories, pricing line and key features written from your Brand Knowledge, so every profile says the same thing. It costs up to about $0.03 on your keys a profile.
- Check your profiles. Click Check profiles to read up to 5 of your profiles and flag anything that disagrees with your Brand Knowledge, like an old price or a missing feature. It costs up to about $0.16 on your keys a check, 4 a month per website. Some sites block automated reading; those say so instead of guessing.
Threads
- 1Open Link Building and choose the Threads tab. Threads AI already cites for your buying prompts appear on their own, marked AI cites this.
- 2Click Find threads to search Reddit and Quora for your first 3 buying prompts. A search costs up to about $0.06 on your keys and counts toward your daily searches.
- 3Open a thread, copy its question and a few replies, and paste them into the box. Click Draft a reply.
- 4The draft answers the question first, mentions you only where it fits, and says plainly that you work for the brand. It costs up to about $0.03 on your keys, 60 a month per website. If the thread isn't a good fit for a reply, it says why instead.
- 5Edit the draft in your own words and post it from your own account. Then paste your reply's link under Posted your reply? and click Save. It joins your Off-site presence, so AI citing it counts as citing you.
Not every thread is worth a reply. Skip the ones that aren't with Skip this thread; you can bring them back later.
