Fair use

The caps on the heaviest work, per domain: 60 articles a month, 100 tracked prompts and the rest, plus 30 domain reports a month per account. The same for every paid, lifetime and trial domain.

Your work runs on your own keys, so you pay the providers for what it uses. The caps below keep one website from filling the queue everyone's work waits in. Most websites never come near them.

WhatCap per domain
Articles (scheduled, Write page and ranking drop refreshes)60 a month
Tracked AI prompts100 at a time
Tracked Google keywords100 at a time
Pages crawled by Site Health10,000 a month
Page audits60 a month

One cap counts your whole account instead, because a domain report is about any website, not one of yours: 30 domain reports a month, across all your websites. A domain report uses no domain.

How the caps count

  • Every cap but domain reports is per domain: each website in your account has its own.
  • Monthly caps count the calendar month in UTC and start again on the 1st. The daily search cap starts again at midnight UTC.
  • Paid, lifetime and trial domains have the same caps.
  • An action counts when it starts. A retry of the same run doesn't count again.
  • Rewrites and section rewrites in the editor never count.
  • Tracked prompts and keywords count the ones active at a time, not checks: pause one to make room for another.
  • A Site Health audit counts the pages it crawls. When the month's pages run low, an audit crawls only what is left.

When a website reaches a cap

That one kind of work pauses for that website until the cap starts again. Everything else carries on, and your other websites are not affected.

  • A button that would go over the cap says so, and starts nothing.
  • Scheduled articles wait. They go back on the schedule when the month turns, including any whose dates passed.
  • When scheduled articles or ranking drop refreshes for a website stop at the article cap, we email the account owner, once a month for each website.
  • The daily digest email tells you when a website passes 80% of a cap.

Can I pay to raise a cap?

Not today. If your work needs more than a cap allows, email us and tell us about it.

Do the caps change what I pay my providers?

No. Your providers bill you for what your work uses, and the cost notes show it before each action starts. The caps only limit how much work runs.
